Sewer, drain, and the plumbing fixes that keep the house running.

Most of what we fix lives behind a wall, under a slab, or 30 feet down a lateral. Every job starts with a camera and a conversation — never a guess.

About us · 02

Specialists, not generalists.

Atlantic County Sewer Pro is a dedicated sewer and drain outfit — not a general plumber who cables on the side. Our lead field technician holds NASSCO Building Sewer and Drain Inspection (BSDI) certification. Every main line starts with a camera, not a guess.

NASSCO BSDI-certified

Industry-standard pipe inspection credentials. Reports that hold up for insurance and municipal work.

Camera-first diagnosis

We don't cable blind. Every main line starts with eyes down the pipe.

Sewer & drain only

No side-of-the-truck faucet installs or appliance hookups. Drain and sewer work is all we do.

When I put out a request for someone to help with my drain issue, they contacted me within a minute and came out the same day. They worked very neatly and cleaned up after themselves. They solved my issue and I was very pleased with their job performance.

Atlantic County Sewer Pro provided quick and skilled emergency services on the eve of Thanksgiving, to fix a critical malfunction of the commercial septic system pump controls at our shopping center. The service was rendered so quickly and so well that our tenants continued to do business and their customers were not inconvenienced.

John came to install our whole-house automatic shutoff valve, and the experience was excellent. The setup required reducers, and he came prepared, brought the correct parts himself, and made sure everything was installed properly. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and clearly knew what he was doing. The job was done neatly and efficiently. Highly recommend his services.

Common questions · 06

Answers to what most people ask before they call.

If your question isn't here, give us a ring at 609-308-9600 — happy to talk through it.

How do I know if my sewer line is actually broken? +

Common warning signs: multiple drains backing up at once (not just one), gurgling toilets when other fixtures run, water pooling in the yard near the sewer line, a sudden patch of greener grass over the line, or sewage smells around the foundation. Tree-root intrusions and corroded clay or cast-iron pipes are the usual culprits in older South Jersey homes. The only way to know for sure is a camera inspection — we run an HD camera down the line and show you exactly what's happening on the screen, no guessing.

How much does a sewer line camera inspection cost? +

Pricing depends on the property and how the line is set up — accessible cleanout, depth of the run, length, and whether you need a NASSCO-style written report. Best to call us at 609-308-9600 with a few details and we'll give you an honest estimate. We don't quote blind because we'd rather give you a real number than a misleading one.

What's the difference between drain cleaning and hydro jetting? +

Drain cleaning typically uses a cable machine (an auger) that punches through the clog. It clears the blockage but doesn't scrub the inside of the pipe. Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water — up to 4,000 PSI — to scour grease, scale, and tree roots off the pipe walls and flush them away. For routine clogs, cabling is fine. For grease-heavy commercial lines, recurring backups, or roots, hydro jetting is the right call. We use both, and we'll tell you which fits.

Should I get a sewer inspection before buying a home? +

Yes — especially for homes built before 1980 in South Jersey, where clay tile sewer lines and tree-root intrusions are common. A standard home inspection looks at fixtures and visible plumbing; it does NOT camera the sewer line. Sewer line replacement runs into the thousands, and finding out after closing is the worst time to discover it. Our NASSCO-certified pre-purchase inspections give you a written report and video so you (or your real estate agent) can negotiate from a position of knowledge.

What towns in South Jersey do you serve? +

Seven counties: Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean, and Salem. That covers everything from the shore towns (Atlantic City, Ocean City, Cape May area) to the Pine Barrens (Hammonton, Egg Harbor Township, Vineland) to the Camden / Gloucester corridor (Cherry Hill, Voorhees, Washington Township). If you're in South Jersey and you've got a sewer or drain, we cover you.

Why choose ACSP over a regular plumber? +

Sewer and drain work is the core of what we do, and it's where we lead — NASSCO BSDI-certified, camera-first diagnosis on every line job. We've added the plumbing fixes that go with that work (toilets, faucets, disposals, sump pumps, hot water heaters), but the line-side expertise — the equipment, the camera library, the inspection credentials — is what sets us apart from a one-stop plumbing shop.
